WHAT DEFENDERS IS ALL ABOUT
These are "Before" photos of Prince showing how he was injured.  Prince was traumatized and in great pain.  We rushed him to surgery and provided all the post-operative care he needed.  This dog's gentle spirit in the face of cruelty made him a "Prince" in our hearts.
No one can say with certainty what happened to Prince.  He had puncture holes as well as massive areas where his skin was scraped raw.

"Throughout his ordeal, Prince never uttered so much as a whimper, "said Gary Brooks, DVM.  It took over 30 stitches to close his wounds.  Drains were inserted and antibiotics were administered to treat the infection.  We did everything we could to make Prince as comfortable as possible.  Kind words and loving hands played an important part in his recovery.

Today, Prince is happy and safe in a good home.  Just look at his face to know what a big difference you've make in his life.
"The scales of justice must be equal for all God's creatures."
